IXON IX-Airbag U03 Vest

The Ixon IX-Airbag U03 vest represents a major step forward in rider protection. Developed with MotoGP™ riders and approved by Dorna, this vest features an electronic wireless system that detects a crash and inflates in less than 55 milliseconds. The built-in In&motion technology analyses the rider’s position in real time over 1000 times per second.

Discreet and flexible, the IX-Airbag U03 is worn under most Ixon motorcycle jackets, whether leather or textile. Made from breathable stretch fabric with a 3D mesh lining, it offers excellent comfort while staying close to the body. Ixon recommends choosing one size down from your usual size for a perfect fit.

The system protects the vital areas: chest, abdomen, spine, neck and collarbones. It includes an integrated CE level 1 back protector, and the deployed airbag reaches a volume of 12 litres. Even after activation, it stays inflated for the entire duration of the crash to help prevent secondary impacts. The vest has a 5-star SRA rating, and its battery lasts up to 30 hours with only 3 hours of charging.
