HIT-AIR MLV2-RC Mechanical Airbag Vest

The Hit-Air MLV2-RC retro-reflective vest builds on what made the MLV-RC so popular, with a fully reflective structure for maximum visibility at night and a discreet look by day. This new version goes even further in terms of protection without compromising comfort or lightness.

Always worn over your motorcycle jacket, the MLV2-RC now features an integrated back protector that greatly increases the airbag’s contact area along the spine. It also benefits from memory foam panels on each side of the torso, providing reinforced chest and abdomen protection while adding real comfort.

The mechanical system remains very simple: attach a lanyard to a stable point on the bike (usually under the seat) and connect the vest cable before you ride. When you stop, simply disconnect the cable to get off without accidental deployment.

A new feature: an innovative semi-flexible shell now protects the cartridge area from external impacts. The activation has also been optimised with more efficient velcro straps and an improved casing for a deployment time between 90 and 160 milliseconds depending on the size.

In case of activation, there’s no need to send the vest back for servicing. Simply replace the 60cc cartridge, close the snap buttons and it’s ready to go again.

The MLV2-RC is sold ready to use: integrated cartridge, connection cable, rearming kit, storage cover and manual are included. It adjusts easily with internal adjustable straps, and optional extensions can add up to 15 cm to the waist and chest circumference.
