Designed to keep your motorcycle batteries in top shape all year round, the Tecmate OptiMate 1 Voltmatic is an intelligent charger that manages everything automatically. It is compatible with 6V or 12V lead-acid batteries (including STD, AGM and GEL) from 2 to 28 Ah. This compact model is perfect for motorcycles, scooters, ATVs or mowers with small to medium batteries.

The VoltMatic system automatically selects the correct charging voltage (6V or 12V) depending on the connected battery. Once plugged in, it starts a complete 4-step charging cycle with no manual setting needed. It then switches to continuous maintenance mode, so you can leave the charger connected safely without risk of overcharging or damaging the battery.

Operation is remarkably simple:

1. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
2. Connect it to the battery using the included crocodile clips or permanent lead.
3. The charger automatically detects if the battery is 6V or 12V and adjusts the charge accordingly.
4. It then switches to maintenance mode to keep the battery fully charged.
5. It can stay connected continuously during winter or any long period when the motorcycle is not in use.

The unit is weather-resistant (IP40) and works down to -40°C, making it a reliable accessory in all conditions. Its very low power consumption (less than 0.5W on standby) makes it an economical and practical tool to leave connected year-round.
