ABUS Granit Detecto XPlus 8008 + 12KS Loop Chain Disc Lock and Chain

The ABUS Granit Detecto XPlus 8008 + 12KS is a 2-in-1 security system designed to protect high-end motorcycles against a high risk of theft. It combines an alarm disc lock and a fabric-sleeved 12 mm loop chain to protect the paintwork. The chain only requires locking at one end thanks to its loop design, which simplifies everyday use. The disc lock can also be used separately from the chain.

The disc lock features 3D position detection that reacts to shocks and the slightest movements, triggering a 100 dB alarm for at least 15 seconds before automatic re-arming. Audio signals indicate the battery status and system activity. The lock can be carried in the closed position without triggering the alarm. The chain, the 16 mm shackle, the body and the load-bearing components are made from specially case-hardened steel. The ABUS XPlus™ cylinder protects against picking and manipulation. To limit mechanical attack attempts, it is recommended not to leave the chain on the ground. Supplied with 2 keys, an ABUS Code Card and a CR2 battery.
