SHOEI NXR 2 Nocturne Helmet

The Shoei NXR 2 Nocturne is the direct response to the expectations of sporty and demanding riders looking for a premium full face helmet that is lightweight, quiet, and stable at high speed. Representing the new generation of the NXR, this model stays true to Shoei’s philosophy of protection, ergonomics, and technical precision, now upgraded to meet the ECE 22.06 certification.

The AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) shell, made from organic fibers and multi-layer composites, provides controlled rigidity while remaining shock-absorbent. The multi-density EPS liner effectively disperses energy. With 4 shell sizes, the NXR 2 ensures a precise fit for every rider. The EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) allows quick helmet removal by emergency responders.

Inside, Shoei has included a 3D MaxDry liner that is both breathable and comfortable, with customizable cheek pads and ear pads to reduce ambient noise. A chin curtain is also included to block unwanted airflow. The entire interior is removable and washable, with replaceable components for easy maintenance.

In terms of visibility, the NXR 2 comes with the CWR-F2 visor, featuring anti-scratch coating, Pinlock® EVO insert included, and a wider field of view. The central opening improves mechanism stability, while integrated side turbulators enhance airflow stability at high speed. Multiple compatible visors are available as options, including HD and photochromic versions.

The ventilation system has also been redesigned: 6 air inlets on the forehead and chin, paired with 4 exhaust vents on the rear spoiler, ensure efficient airflow without compromising noise control. The helmet is ready for universal intercom installation, though no dedicated recesses are provided.

Helmet comes with a clear visor. A tinted visor is available as an option.
