SHOEI NXR 2 Ideograph Helmet

The Shoei NXR 2 Ideograph is the direct response to the expectations of sporty and demanding riders looking for a premium full face helmet that is lightweight, quiet, and stable at high speed. Representing the new generation of the NXR, this model stays true to Shoei’s commitment to protection, ergonomics, and technical precision, now updated to meet the ECE 22.06 certification.

The AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) shell, made of organic fibers and multi-layer composites, provides controlled rigidity while remaining shock-absorbent. The multi-density EPS liner effectively distributes energy. With 4 shell sizes, the NXR 2 ensures a precise fit for all body types. The EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) ensures quick helmet removal by emergency teams.

Inside, Shoei has integrated a 3D MaxDry liner that is breathable and comfortable, with customizable cheek pads and ear pads to reduce ambient noise. A chin curtain is also included to minimize air drafts. The entire interior is removable and washable, with replaceable parts for easy maintenance.

In terms of visibility, the NXR 2 features the CWR-F2 visor with anti-scratch coating, Pinlock® EVO insert included, and a wider field of vision. The central opening improves mechanism stability, while integrated side turbulators help stabilize airflow at high speed. Multiple optional visors are available, including HD and photochromic versions.

The ventilation system has also been redesigned: 6 air inlets across the forehead and chin, combined with 4 exhaust vents at the rear spoiler, ensure efficient airflow without compromising noise isolation. The helmet is ready for universal intercom installation, though no dedicated cavities are provided.

Helmet comes with a clear visor. A tinted visor is available as an option.
